West Bay, Dorset

It was a dreary and very overcast day on the Dorset coast and after trudging around the harbour in the rain, it finally abated for a few moments as I happened across this scene. The grey flat skies provided the perfect backdrop for this scattered arrangement of rocks, there to keep the sand and tide in check, and accented by the marker post, as if to mark the end of the land and the start of the sea.
